My go-to abrasive brand

Best abrasives on the market next to Festool granat. Theyre honestly tied in quality. Have been buying for roughly 3-4 years and I actually refuse to use any other.

We can all agree that the price is unbeatable.

I will continue to advocate for Tiger shark as long as I stay in this line of work

Perfect fit for both of my Festool 125 sanders

I own two 125 Festool sanders - one is a Rotax that can really grind off material with the right sand paper. This Tiger Shark 60 grit fits both my sanders perfectly, resists loading even when sanding dried paint, varnish or polyurethane. This is aggressive paper to use care because in softer wood like pine or poplar, you could do a lot of damage fast with a Festool 125 set to sand aggressively.

Hook and loop is secure, half the price of Festool and available in 60 grit which can be hard to find in non-Festool brands. All things considered, there is NO reason to pay Festool twice the amount for their sand paper that offers no advantage over this product. Hope that helps!

The live edge wood slab in the photos is a 44 x 13.5 x 1.25 inch piece of Granadillo which is native to central America. It's tough stuff but the 60 grit TigerShark disks helped me quickly remove the planer snipe on the surface. The photo is the slab after 60, 80,120, 150, 220 and 320 sanding followed by four LVHP spray coats of Varathane satin water based polyurethane that was sanded to 600 between coats. I then machine polished the finish with a 3M Perfect It foam pad and automotive abrasive to a fine sheen.

PS - On a side note, What's up with the "sheerness" feature that Amazon seems to want reviewers to comment on for EVERY product they sell? It's almost never an applicable thing to review, especially for any tool related item. Just wondering.....

Perfect fit for Festool 9-hole

I work mostly with end grain so I blow through abrasives like there's no tomorrow. This stuff cuts like a hot knife through butte,r and with the precision cut dust extraction holes, it's almost a no-mask abrasive. In the pictures I intentionally left some deep 80 grit cuts from my drum sander for reference.

Worth every penny!

Heard many great things about TigerShark sandpaper, but was hesitant to buy it for the Festool Rotex as we have always used festool paper. We are so glad we did!

First, aligning the sandpaper to the rotex was so much easier than doing so with the festool paper.

Second, I used 80 grit to knock down puck marks in curly maple and padauk left behind from our planer. The sandpaper knocked out the marks out with ease.

Third and most important...I sanded down 5 cutting boards (back and front) and the sandpaper was still completely in tact and knocked out all the blemishes. Best of all, I can reuse the sandpaper after sanding all 5 boards as the pad still looks brand new! Would certainly order again without hesitation.

High quality low price

Amazing quality sandpaper. Works better than the expensive festool paper. Ive used this many of the tigershark products and all have worked great and lasted longer. The price point is right so Ive been slowly stocking my shop up with the 5 festool paper and the 6 festool paper.
